Preparing for the Vaccine

Preparing for the Vaccine

If you would like to know how to prepare for taking the vaccine, this blog will give you some practical tips on staying healthy and priming your immune system.

The current vaccine has substances that can release histamine and increase brain blood barrier permeability so if you suffer with histamine associated migraines (migraines that occur after eating junk or synthetic foods), you should consider taking vitamin C and Quercetin prior to having the vaccination. You might also like to take the following before taking the vaccine:

  • Zinc and Magnesium help the enzymes that breakdown the RNA from the vaccination.
  • Zinc makes sure the correct messages get from the vaccination to prime our immune system.
  • A healthy Gut Microbiome (gut bacteria balance) helps to reduce COVID-19 vaccine induced adverse reactions.  Taking probiotics and prebiotics ideally at least 2 weeks before having that vaccine (but taking them a few days is better than nothing!)
  • Curcumin is an antioxidant, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory liver protector which can help modulate the immune system.
  • Silica diminishes as we get older due to poor absorption from our gut function, and a high meat, low plant- based diet. Therefore, it is important to increase your plant based foods and decrease your animal meat based foods.  Every nutrient plays a role in regulating the immune system which is another reason for eating a richer plant-based diet.
  • Beta Glucans and Rice Bran Arabinoxylan Compounds (RBAC) are special immune system modulators which retrains the immune system when exposed to the virus or the vaccine bringing it back into balance.
  • Chronic Stress makes drug metabolism less affective and can cause the vaccinate to be harmful on the body.  Make sure you are nice and calm before the vaccination, and have a good night’s sleep.  This will enable your body to clear the virus.

Other top lifestyle tips you will be familiar with if you read my blogs regularly! Do not smoke, eat a healthy diet, take regular exercise, maintain a healthy weight, don’t drink too much alcohol, get adequate sleep, minimise stress, and spend time in nature.

If you want further advice or help with specific supplements for the above, please get in touch with me.

With every blessing,
